Description
BikePark Leogang is home to the Speedster, the UCI Downhill World Cup and World Championship course, and one of the biggest lift-served bike parks in the Alps. Fifteen graded lines run down from two lift stations, the Asitzbahn and the Steinbergbahn, ranging from mellow, flowing blue-graded runs to black-rated technical descents, alongside a dedicated beginner zone, an asphalt pump track and a dirt jump line. Leogang forms part of Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Austria's largest connected bike region, though this listing covers only what's at Leogang itself. Gondola uplift, a bike hire and shop, cafe, campsite and car parking are all at the valley station, and waymarked gravel routes run out into the surrounding valleys too.

The Trails
From the Asitzbahn: Hangman I (technical singletrack, intermediate), Hot Shots fired by GoPro (a wide, jump-focused pro line, difficult), Antonius Trail (natural singletrack through the forest, difficult), Flow Link by FOX (an intermediate freeride line), Hangman II (a wide, flowing line rated easy but with plenty for advanced riders too), Flying Gangster (wallrides and drops from 0.5m to 5m, intermediate), Speedster (the UCI Downhill World Cup and World Championship course, and the most demanding line on the mountain, difficult), Vali's Hölle (difficult, named for Austrian rider Vali Höll, who went on to win her home World Cup on this line), and Bongo Bongo (difficult, technical forest riding with tight turns, roots and north shore sections).
From the Steinbergbahn: Steinberg Line (a long, easy 6.1km flow trail down to the base station) and Steinberg Link (easy, full of berms). New for 2026: Gateway (an easy connector trail linking the Steinbergbahn mid-station to the Steinberg Line), Back to the Roots (a natural, difficult singletrack with a rock drop highlight), Hangover (a steep, difficult natural line with no artificial features) and T-LINE by GoPro (an intermediate jump line inspired by Flying Gangster, with a 13m bridge doubling as a table).
Beginners start at the Riders Playground, a 30,000 square metre practice area at the foot of the Asitzbahn served by its own lift and conveyor belts. It has the Greenhorn Line (an easy 800m freeride run), plus Maxxis Line, Lumberjack Line, Maxi Jump Line, Voltage Line, Contessa Line, Rookie Line, Mini Speedster and Mini Shred Line for younger and newer riders, a dedicated Bike School Area for coached sessions, and a GoPro Bagjump for practising airtime safely. The World Champs Pumptrack, a 5,000 square metre asphalt pump track built by Velosolutions, sits at the Asitz base station with its own Jump and Dirt Line alongside it.
The venue grades its own lines as Very Easy, Easy, Intermediate or Difficult rather than the standard green, blue, red and black colours, though they map roughly onto that scale. Trail layouts and the surrounding car parks can change around race events and maintenance work, so check the venue's own trail status page for current conditions before you ride.
Admission and Prices
BikePark Leogang is a paid-uplift venue: every rider on the lift-served lines needs a valid ticket, scanned through the turnstiles via the Mountainticket app. For the 2026 main season (14 May to 8 November), standard walk-up adult prices run from around €37 for a single ascent with your bike, up to €66 for a one-day ticket and €394 for a ten-day ticket, with reduced rates for teens (born 2008 to 2010) and children (born 2011 to 2020). Ticket prices are dynamic, and booking online in advance is usually cheaper than paying at the office. The separate Riders Playground has its own ticket: around €18 for two hours, €24 for four hours or €29 for a full day for adults, with lower rates for under-10s. Prices are correct as of September 2026 but subject to change, so check current rates on the venue's own website before you book.
Gravel Riding
Leogang sits inside a genuine gravel network stretching across the wider Saalfelden Leogang and Fieberbrunn valleys, waymarked and published by the local tourist board, including a route through nearby Schwarzleo and Schwarzbach. These are separate from the lift-served bike park lines: expect forest and gravel roads linking villages and valleys rather than singletrack, graded as a challenging ride for gravel bikes rather than mountain bikes.
Getting Here
The main access point is Bikepark Leogang's valley station at the Asitzbahn gondola, Hütten 39, 5771 Leogang. By car it's toll-free from Germany via the A8 through Rosenheim, then via Lofer and Saalfelden, or via Kössen and Waidring, arriving directly at Hütten 39. Car parks P1 to P3 at the Asitzbahn are free only with a scanned, used lift ticket; P4 to P6 remain free for everyone, and there's EV charging on site. The valley station also has bike hire, a bike shop and wash, toilets, a cafe, and a motorhome pitch with electricity, showers, waste disposal, fresh water and a small shop.
The Steinbergbahn, a short drive from the Asitzbahn, gives direct access to the Steinberg Line, Gateway and Back to the Roots, and has its own free car park.
By public transport, Leogang and Leogang Steinberge rail stations are around 15 minutes' walk from the Steinbergbahn, with regional trains taking bikes space permitting and a seat reservation needed on long-distance services. A local on-demand shuttle also connects Leogang and Saalfelden and carries bikes.
