The Trails
- Green Trail (4km, family): Mainly flat on wide paths, tarmac in places or rolled stone. Suitable for all ages, balance bikes, bikes with baby seats and trailers. Pedal go-carts (including adapted carts) are available to hire from Margam Park Adventure, making this trail accessible and inclusive.
- Blue Trail (approximately 5km including green section): An extension to the green route with challenging climbs leading to a downhill singletrack section. Features include berms, bridges, a small drop-down gully (optional), rollers and rooty sections. Suitable for intermediate riders with basic off-road skills. The blue trail runs alongside the Go Ape high ropes course.
- Red Trail (4km standalone, 6 to 8km with blue or black sections added): Punchy short climbs and technical descents with large berms, wooden features, drop-offs and rocky sections. Suitable for proficient riders on mountain bikes only.
- Black Trail (5.5km): Steep climbs, severe descents and unavoidable large features including tight switchbacks, fast sections, jumps and drop-offs. For expert mountain bikers only. The black trail was originally built to host a one-off specialist event and was closed to the public for several years before being opened for all riders. Built by On Track trail builders and maintained with support from Margam Mountain Bike Club volunteers.
