Description
The Llanberis Path and the Snowdon Ranger path are two (Black and Double black respectively) mountain bike trails on Mount Snowdon in Snowdonia, North Wales. Mount Snowdon with an elevation of 1085 metres (3559 feet) makes it the highest peak in England and Wales.

Llanberis Path
- The Llanberis Path is a 16km Black graded MTB trail. The trail kicks off in the village of Llanberis. In essence, it goes both up and down the same path.
- The terrain is steep, bouldery and you need to watch out for walkers who also use the trail.
- Expect at least 2.5 hours to get to the summit.
- The Snowdon Ranger MTB route is an 18.5 km Double Black graded mountain bike route.
- The terrain is made up of steep, loose riding on big rocks and many switchbacks to navigate.
- Llanberis Village
- Both routes starts from the car park by Llyn Padarn in Llanberis (GR577605).
- Both paths have a voluntary bike ban. This means from 10 am to 5 pm from the beginning of May until the end of September there is no riding. These paths are shared by walkers so for the best ride and to avoid the conflict please respect the ban.
