Description
Doethie Valley in Llandovery is renowned as having some of the best natural mountain bike singletrack in Wales. Its views are legendary and many say the iconic ride is as much about the setting as it is about the ride itself.

Doethie Valley Trail Route
- Doethie Valley Route is an approximate 23 kilometer loop trail located near Llanwrtyd Wells. In the summer folk refer to it as sweet flowing singletrack but in the wetter months more as a tough slow ride so the terrain rides much better in the summer and suffers in the winter months so bear this in mind.
- This route is around 23km with a total climbing of 1130 meters. It takes folk on average around 3 - 4 hours. The steep shale climb up to the Doethie Valley is long and hard You pass round the Llyn Brianne Reservoir. Views are iconic and the descent offers rocks, rock slabs, roots and flowing singletrack. The 7km singletrack descent of this trail is a classic.
