Elliott Baker

A very large bike park with a wide variety of trails from a progressive green to a huge pro line. They accommodate both chunky tech and smooth flow trails, or a blend of both to get the best of both worlds. There is a cafe downstairs that serves food at great value with plenty of staff that make checking in easy and quick. The uplift is as fast as it can be and the racks are easy to use once you get used to it. I would reccomend you use a burlier bike with at least 130mm of travel for comfort, however I have seen short travel hardtails bombing down a black run. It truly is for everyone!

What do you like?

Huge variety of trail types and difficulties.

Great staff makes repairs and check-in very easy.

Never feels overly busy, whilst having a lively atmosphere.

Uplift is quick and easy to use.

Trails are constantly being updated and maintained to keep things fresh and new.

Progressive trails with optional jumps and features, even on the green trail.

What could be improved?

Trail maintenance can take a while, keeping it out of service for a long time.

The uplift closes quite early however evening sessions are sometimes available.

Uplift can sometimes be an uncomfortable ride.

Many trails may not be suitable for some bikes.

Website booking and safety forms can be tricky to understand, especially if you are an Under-16 rider.

Pretty steep price for an uplift. (~£50pp)

Location is a bit out of the way of Cardiff and Bristol, but not too bad.

Please dont take these negative points away from the park, it's definitely worth it and is a brilliant day out. Enjoy! :)
