Great trails, the only down side was my technical skills!
I had a great 2 hours there before I stacked on hot stepper and landed on a rock fracturing my pelvis in 3 places! Rider error, and getting over confident in very wet conditions so all my own fault. That said I'm planning to go back next year now that I've healed up and put right that unfortunate mishap! Brilliantly inventive trails, made getting back to Berkshire a bit dull! Merthyr hospital is just up the road and they were great too!!!
What do you like?
Great trails with massive variety, the team of guys who work there are excellent. Uplifts make for fun day.The trail centre is among the best I've been to. Good support if you need medical attention.
What could be improved?
Car park is a bit rough
I'd say the reds here are darker red than the average, worth doing a reccy ride before full commitment just to ensure you know what you're letting yourself in for if like me you are from the flat lands of the South!
