Description

Templeton Tangle is a short mountain bike skills trail in Templeton Woods near Dundee, on the side of Gallow Hill. It is a blue graded trail aimed at experienced off-road riders, with red options for advanced riders after a bigger technical challenge.

The Trail

  • The Templeton Tangle Skills Trail is a 1.2 km track with a selection of technical trail features including berms, drop-offs, rock gardens, log rides, rollers, jumps and doubles. The blue line is aimed at experienced off-road riders, with red options for advanced riders.
  • The trail is found on the side of Gallow Hill, Dundee's highest point, within Templeton Woods.

Access

  • The trail is managed by Dundee City Council with support from local clubs, Scottish Cycling, Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland and the Angus Mountain Bike Trails Association.
