Overview

  • Although waymarked it is recommended to use a trail map especially to help you find the start of the trail. You can get this from the nearest bike shop called Square Wheels.
  • The trail is most famous for holding the annual mid-winter Strathpuffer 24-hour race. Probably one of the coldest and harshest MTB races globally.

Routes

    Strathpeffer Trail

  • The Strathpeffer trail for the Strathpuffer is a 12.5 km trail with roots, rocks, singletrack and steep climbs and descents. Race Route.
  • Knockfarrel and Cnoc Mor

  • This is a 10km / 6 mile technically hard MTB trail. Details can be found here.
