Description

Stob Bàn is a serious natural mountain descent on the Mamores ridge near Kinlochleven, dropping off a Munro summit of just under 1,000 metres. This is one out-and-back route: a long climb, big Highland scenery, and a rocky, narrow descent with sections of hike-a-bike. Ungraded and unsuited to beginners, it's shared with walkers throughout the route.

Getting Here

Lower Falls Car Park, Glen Nevis Road, Achriabhach, near Fort William PH33 6SY, just before Polldubh Bridge. The car park has a charge and includes accessible toilets. Shiel Buses service 42 runs from Fort William to Lower Falls for those without a car.
