Description
Pitmedden Forest Mountain Bike Trails sit on the Perthshire and Fife border, managed by the volunteer Pitmedden Trail Crew. The compact forest holds more trail than it appears, with a criss-cross of non-waymarked black, red and blue downhill tracks that reward repeated sessions.

The trails are short with some fast sections, packed with features including root jumps, small gaps and drops. Expect steep terrain and some sizeable road gaps. A good spot for sessioning and improving technical skills.
- Black trails: Lumps and Bumps, Bagpuss, Send It, Corner of Death, Towbal, Don't Send It
- Red trails: Loam Lover, Trig 2 Tyre, Rootmageddon, Get Out of Jail Free, A River Runs Through It
- A broad selection of blue trails is also available. The trail crew is always working on new developments and upkeep.
Local Organisation
- The trails are built and maintained by the Pitmedden Trail Crew with the landowner's permission. The crew is a member of the Tayside Trail Association, a volunteer-run non-profit that coordinates trail development and maintenance across Tayside, including Dunkeld, Ballo and Deuchny.
