Corrennie Mountain Biking Trails
Corrennie Mountain Biking Trails sit within Corrennie Moor and Woodland near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, on national forest land managed by Forestry and Land Scotland. The Aberdeenshire Trail Association (ATA) and local volunteers maintain a growing network here, now up to seven named singletrack trails ranging from flowing woodland riding to fast, technical descents. It's an unwaymarked wild trail network rather than a signed trail centre, so download a route or use GPS navigation before you set off.

The Trails
The Corrennie network has grown steadily and currently includes seven named trails:
- Green Hill Woodland Singletrack: a flowing, natural line through the woods following old deer tracks and logger tracks, suited to most riders.
- Secret in the Woods: a shorter trail tucked away in the trees.
- Rusty Hatchet: a short, punchy downhill only line for confident riders.
- Deer Climb: a technical trail with a mix of climbing and descending sections.
- Lynx Transition: a fast, one direction descent for experienced riders.
- Drop and Slide: old deer tracks leading into grassy singletrack, with a few flat sections and short climbs.
- Guy Martin: one of the network's newer additions, a demanding technical descent.
A forest road climb links the descents back to the top of the hill, useful for lapping the network without retracing singletrack.
Local Organisation

Getting Here
Park at the Corrennie Moor and Woodland access point off Unnamed Road, near Sauchen, close to the A944, Inverurie AB51 7NQ. There is no dedicated visitor car park signage, so allow extra time to find the right pull in on your first visit. No direct public transport serves the site, so a car or bike is the practical way in.
