The Trails
The riding at Ballo Wood is predominantly technical enduro terrain across steep and twisty hillside. Expect roots, rocks, berms, chutes, jumps and drops. Many trails are named after curries, with increasing spice indicating higher difficulty.
- Featured runs include Vindaloo, Korai, Bhuna, Rista, Master Blaster, Dirty Dog, Forest Grump, Start Me Up and Corona. The venue has hosted multiple enduro events.
- Next door, Hallyburton Woods offers flowier trails as a contrast to the technical terrain at Ballo. Both hills can be covered in one ride, though many riders prefer to focus on one hill at a time for maximum laps.
