Description

The Murrough Pump Track, also listed as Wicklow Town Pump Track, is a free asphalt pump track on The Murrough in Wicklow Town. It opened in November 2025 with 280 metres of track: a 230 metre main loop, a 50 metre beginners line and a dedicated advanced line.

  • Asphalt surface, built to Velosolutions design standards by Trailbreaker, a trail building company from Roundwood in County Wicklow.
  • Open to bikes, scooters, skateboards and inline skates, free of charge and all year round.
  • Wicklow Town Team developed the project with Wicklow Municipal District and Wicklow County Council, with funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development's Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
