Description
Shannon Town Pump Track, Shannon, County Clare is a modern asphalt pump track located within Shannon Town Park at Town Hall, Bóthar Linne, Tullyvarraga. Built as part of the park’s wider recreation space, it offers a flowing circuit suitable for bikes, scooters and skateboards. The local authority describes it as the first pump track of its kind in the Munster region.

Pump Track
The pump track features smooth asphalt rollers, linked berms and multiple line options for riders of all ages and ability levels. Set among trees and landscaped green areas, it is designed for continuous laps, skill-building and general progression. Riders should bring their own bikes, scooters or boards as no rental facilities are listed.
Other Stuff
Shannon Town Park includes a children’s playground for ages 0–12 with climbing frames, a zip wire and balance features. A multi-sport court provides a combi goal for football and handball, plus an adjustable basketball hoop. Paths, benches and open green areas connect the wider park.
The facility resulted from a campaign led by Kieran Moloney of Clare BMX Club. On Track managed the build.

Directions
From Shannon town centre, head towards Town Hall on Bóthar Linne, Tullyvarraga. Visitor-reported parking is available near the Garda station next to the park. Bus services run to Shannon with a short walk to the park, though users should check up-to-date route timings.
