Description

Bike Park Ireland is a Downhill MTB centre in Tipperary, right in the middle of Ireland. There are 6 downhill trails from Green through to Black as well as a Pro line, a large pump track and an XC route. There is an efficient uplift service or you can tackle the 2km climb.

Like this?

Pump Track

  • The Pump Track is apparently the largest Pump Track in Ireland.

Uplift

  • A pretty efficient uplift service that operates 4 times an hour on uplift days.

Green Trail

  • The Green trail is 2km long and is great for families and beginners There is also Blue teaser section on the Green.

Blue Trail

  • Lots of little technical sections to enhance your skills. You will enjoy it on a hardtail* bike but it is quite bumpy and much more enjoyable on a full-suspension bike.

Blue - Intermediate Jump Trail

  • The Blue Jumps Trail, is 1.2km long. It is also known as a “Free Ride Trail” with progressive table tops and rollers as well as smooth flowing berms. It's approx 1.2km long and liek all the other trails it is all-weather trail.

Red Jumps Trail

  • The Red trail has berms and tabletops and is approximtaely 1km in length.

Black 1 - Expert

  • Single track, with lots of off-camber roots sections and drops.

Black 2 - Expert

  • Single track, with lots of off-camber roots sections, rock gardens and drops with roll-around. It’s fast and flowing.

Black 3 – Expert, with a purple road gap jump

  • Tough, steep berms, rock gardens, drops, and a road gap.

Enduro Climb

  • The Enduro Climb trail is a 2km climb to the start of all the downhill trails. It’s a single track with harpacked surface.

XC Trail

  • The Cross Country trail is a short 5km loop starting on the Enduro Climb and continuing off the Green Trail.

Other Stuff

  • An important note of caution with the trail gradings. They are apprarently a step up to traditional trail gradings you are likely used to i.e. a green here is more like a blue anywhere else, a blue more like a red and so on.
