Main Trail Loop
The main cross-country loop runs for around 10 km, following lakeside singletrack, wooded paths and short sections of tarmac. It offers a mix of surfaces suited to beginners and intermediate riders. The route is signed and easy to follow, with gradual climbs and gentle descents weaving through the park.
- Distance: approx. 10 km
- Grade: Green to Blue (mixed)
- Surface: Compact gravel, singletrack, and short tarmac connectors
- Start point: Craigavon Lakes car park, beside the Watersports Centre
Blue Trail Sections
Older site brochures reference distinct Blue sections within the loop, described as narrow and twisty singletrack with roots and variable surfaces. These add variety and flow for intermediate riders. However, current signage and online maps show the trail as a single loop rather than separate Green and Blue routes, so the status of independent Blue segments is uncertain.
- Condition: Mixed use (Green/Blue merged)
- Status note: Separate Blue-only loop not confirmed in 2025

Pump Track
The asphalt pump track beside the main car park provides a compact, well-constructed loop for riders of all ages. It’s great for skills practice and family sessions, with rollers and berms designed for flow and balance. Open access and free to use.
- Surface: Smooth asphalt
- Suitable for: MTB, BMX, balance bikes, and scooters

Facilities
The trailhead is beside the Craigavon Watersports Centre where riders will find toilets, changing areas, and parking. There’s also a café on-site (seasonal hours) and picnic areas around the lakes. Bike hire is occasionally available through local partners. The loop starts and finishes directly at the car park, making it easy to access for families and groups.
