The new section winds through a newly developed woodland area, featuring climbs, stream crossings, tight single-track, rocky sections, and drops with optional b-lines around each one. The layout sits between casually ridden and full-gas efforts, suiting both newer XC riders and those chasing harder sessions.

A full POV lap of the extended trail is available on the Twisted Oaks YouTube channel, showing the new extension from the 1 minute 20 seconds mark onward, ridden by James and two of the trail crew, Dan and Lee.

Twisted Oaks operates across 56 acres in Brightwell Country Park, Suffolk, with a full suite of disciplines alongside XC. The park includes a blue loop, multiple woodland lines, dual slalom, downhill runs, a national-level 4X track, a large skills area, and various jump lines. On-site facilities include a cafe, bike shop with hire, and both day-use and glamping options. The site is open to members and day visitors who book and pay online.
