Doon Tha Brae Events has released the provisional dates for the 2026 Tartan Enduro Series, with three rounds planned across North Scotland. Venues are still to be confirmed, but the series will run on 31 May, 16 August and 13 September. The organisers describe it as Scotland’s biggest grassroots enduro series, bringing together a wide mix of riders in a friendly and supportive race environment.

The format follows the usual enduro setup of timed downhill stages linked by untimed climbs and transfers. Riders can expect technical trail riding, physical ascents and a broad community of participants from first timers to returning racers. Previous years have included full and lite route options, youth categories and e-bike categories, designed to make the series accessible across a range of abilities.

Leadership update

Doon Tha Brae has also confirmed a change in leadership for 2026. After nearly ten years of organising events, founders AJ and Mhairi are stepping back from day to day operations. The series will now be led by long time team member Chris Redmond and rider Marcus McLernon. Chris has been a key marshal lead and is involved in the Tarland Trails project. Marcus has taken part in multiple DTB events and brings experience from the participant side. AJ and Mhairi will remain in the background to offer support as needed.
