Oxfordshire Trail Association Rebrands to OX Trails and Launches Fundraiser

OX Trails (formerly Oxfordshire Trail Association) have refreshed their name and logo as they step up efforts to transform off-road cycling in the county. As part of their next phase, they’ve also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help fund their startup operations.

Supporting the future of riding in Oxfordshire

Despite Oxford’s reputation as a cycling city, the wider county has very few dedicated off-road facilities for mountain biking or BMX. OX Trails are looking to change that. They’re a group of passionate mountain bikers working to develop, promote and maintain a network of riding spots across Oxfordshire.

They're currently entering a management agreement with the National Trust to look after Badbury Clumps—one of the only semi-official MTB locations in the area—and are also collaborating with Vale of White Horse District Council on plans to redevelop the South Abingdon BMX track.

Why they need your help

The group is aiming to raise £5,000 to cover essential startup costs including Public Liability Insurance, tooling, health and safety training, and their website domain. So far, they’ve already raised over £800 and are encouraging anyone passionate about trails and riding in the area to get behind the cause.

Show your support

If you’d like to help grow the Oxfordshire trail scene and support the development of more places to ride, you can donate via their GoFundMe page or follow them for updates on their Facebook page.
