Grizedale Forest in the Lake District has new sections of red-grade trail now officially open. Built by Velosolutions for Forestry England, these new downhill sections feature smooth, swooping, flowy track and tight technical corners.

They can be ridden directly from Moor Top for easy sessioning or included as part of the full 16km North Face Trail, which starts from the Visitor Centre and follows the red arrows.
Some riders have already helped bed in the new lines. If you’ve not yet tried them, the summer months are an ideal time to visit.
The sections are graded red but maybe look a little blue but hard to tell from an image and are part of the main overall red graded trail. Either way look great to ride and good to see investment going in to this centre.
