Mountain View Bike Park (MV Bike Park) in Caerphilly has opened a new trail, Downwind, the venue has announced on its Facebook page.

Downwind is graded Blue+ by the park and has been built by trail builder Bevstar. MV Bike Park describes it as a fast, flowing trail suited both to riders looking to step up from blue-grade trails and to those simply after a fun lap. Footage shared alongside the announcement shows a flow-style trail running through woodland, with rollers, jumps and berms.
Downwind adds to MV Bike Park's existing network, which already spans green through to black grades, along with two pump tracks and skills coaching for riders aged 2 and up.
