The scheme is reported as a £100,000 project funded by local business leader Guy Nicholls. East Suffolk Council approved the original plans in 2024, with a revised design approved in December 2025 that adjusted the track layout and fencing.
Planning documents describe an asphalt pump track built as a continuous circuit with rollers and berms. The submitted site plan shows a compact loop-style layout with multiple linked turns and sections inside a fenced enclosure, plus gated access, CCTV, benches and planting. It also indicates an existing informal footpath will be diverted around the boundary of the new facility.
Opening times have been reported as 07:00 to 22:00 daily, with motorcycles and mopeds not permitted. On delivery, Tru7 Group has said Kesgrave Town Council is looking to work with specialist builders Clark & Kent, and the site plan references a “C&K pump track design” drawing (May 2023). A completion date has not been made public.
