Nevis Range is one of the UK’s most prominent trail centres. It has a wide selection of world-class XC trails in the Lower Forest area as well as Gondola accessed downhill tracks (including the famous Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill track). In September it added to its downhill family by introducing a new blue trail The Blue Doon. This is to its fame the longest lift-accessed blue trail in the UK

The track is 650m up on the mountain of Aonach Mor in view of Ben Nevis. It goes through open hillside and forest with amazing views across Fort William and Loch Linnhe. It took around two years to craft and 99% of the material is sourced on-site from the hillside endorsing the Nevis Ranges' credentials further as a sustainable business.


Already having black and orange downhill tracks this new blue opens up the gondola accessed downhill tracks to a new broader audience of intermediate riders.
