DMBinS has launched two new surveys to gather views from riders and mountain bike-related businesses across Scotland. The goal is to help inform a new national mountain bike strategy for 2026–2036, aiming to ensure the sport continues to grow in a way that’s inclusive, sustainable and reflective of the needs of the whole MTB community.

Colin Slater, independent chair of the MTB Consortium, said: "We want the next strategy to be bold, inclusive and rooted in the needs of the people and businesses that make up our vibrant mountain biking scene."
If you ride in Scotland—whether for fun, fitness, or adventure—or run a business linked to mountain biking, your input is encouraged. The surveys are open until 4 August 2025.
