Hafod Trails is back for 2025, with bookings now live and the season kicking off on Saturday 19th April.

Located on the edge of Brechfa Forest, in South Wales Hafod Trails offers a mix of uplift-served blue to black trails, making it a solid destination whether you’re after flow, tech, or progression. Facilities include a Grub Hub serving hot food midday, with snacks and drinks available all day, plus coaching options for those looking to sharpen their skills. BTW the uplift is novel and super efficient. 

The reopening also comes after recent storm damage which hit the Brechfa region quite hard. The Hafod team has been working hard to repair and enhance the trails, making the 2025 season a welcome return for Welsh riding.

It’s also worth noting that Hafod came second in the 2024 iBikeRide Trail of the Year campaign, a strong reflection of the community's support and the trails on offer. See the full results here.

Also worth giving a nod to Charlie Kingswood, who’s been a key part of the driving force behind Hafod. Charlie has just become a SheRides Ambassador Collective, helping to grow and support the women’s MTB community through social rides and events.
