Bike Park Kernow are issuing an urgent call for entries after Edg'Duro Round 1 fell well short of the minimum needed to run. With only 25 riders signed up and a minimum of 60 required, organisers say a decision on cancellation will be made this Friday.

The Edg'Duro Cornish Champs is a two-round grassroots enduro series open to both pro and amateur riders. Round 1 takes place on Sunday 17 May at The Bowl (PL11 3AX) in Cornwall, with a four-stage Mash Up format. Round 2 is scheduled for 20 September at Bike Park Kernow, with a four-stage Mash Up and an additional E-Bike Power Stage.
Organisers have been direct about what cancellation would mean. If Round 1 does not go ahead, Round 2 at Bike Park Kernow will also be cancelled, along with potentially all future enduro racing from the team. They have said the financial risk of running events with expensive timing equipment and low numbers threatens the long-term viability of the business, and that keeping Bike Park Kernow open as a riding venue for years to come remains the priority.
Entry is £40 per round, or £70 for both rounds. Riders can enter now via SI Entries. For more information visit bikeparkkernow.uk or contact team@bikeparkkernow.
