Storm Darragh did considerable damage to the trails at Dalby forest with every trail being effected. Luckily Storm Eowyn did not add too much to the damage with just a few trees down. As of  25th January this is the state of the mountain bike trails

The Green trail is fully open.

The blue trail is open with one short section diverted on a fire road.

The red trail is open with several diversions  Section 3 closed with a diversion, section 6 partly closed with a diversion around the closed section. Section 8 to Dixon's hollow closed with a fire road diversion. Section 22 has a partical diversion and Section 23 completely closed with a diversion in place. Section 26 to 28 closed with a fire road diversion.

The black trails still has trees down which will be cleared once the Red has been cleared.

Sections 3, 6 and 23 on the red trail will required harvesting machinery to clear them. This will be scheduled in as quickly as possible. The other sections can be cleared by hand with chainsaws and Forestry England staff are working through them as quickly as possible to get them re-open.
