The update was shared on Forestry England Dalby’s social channels, confirming that timber features on the expert-graded route had recently been refurbished and are now back open for riders. The work focused on a small cluster of elevated wooden north shore sections on the trail.
Photos released with the update show rebuilt timber platforms and linking ramps set low over the forest floor, with fresh deck boards and reinforced framing. The features form part of a short technical sequence on the black route, guiding riders across narrow wooden lines before returning to the dirt trail.
According to Forestry England Dalby, the renovation work has now been completed in time for the weekend, with riders encouraged to head out and check the refreshed features.
The UCI World Cup Black Route is one of the most technical marked trails in Dalby Forest. The expert-graded loop mixes steep climbs, rooty descents and man-made features such as rock gardens and north shore elements.
Dalby Forest itself remains one of the UK’s better known trail centres, with a wide spread of marked riding that ranges from family-friendly loops through to advanced technical trails.
