Challenges at Watchmore Bike Park

We wrote about Watchmore Bike Park in Dorset, in March being temporarily closed and then again in July where we thought Velosolutions UK had been commissioned to enhance Watchmoor Bike Park for "addressing poor trail alignment and feature design, ensuring the park meets Forestry England’s trail grading specifications."

Well, we just spotted a couple of new challenging developments.

Like this?

First, an announcement by the ranger that features have been removed from the existing park:

In preparation for upcoming works and for riders safety we have removed the three tabletop features from Watchmoor Bike Park.
Even though we closed this facility for safety reasons, a number of incidents have occurred including many ambulance calls. Due to this, we have made the decision to remove some of the features earlier than the build, to deter usage of the closed park.
The ranger team would like to confirm that tabletops / a jump line sequence are still being proposed in the new design.Thank you for your understanding.

Then on the same day another post that the previous two tender attempts have led to no tenders being submitted:

We are currently on our third tender for the Watchmoor and Singletrack works.
It has been very disappointing that the first two resulted in zero bids for the works so we have had to keep changing the dates.
We are hopeful for this third tender to be successful and appoint a builder to start at the end of March. We appreciate this will be frustrating for a lot of you - it is frustrating for us as well but we are glad the new designs are moving forward albeit slower than we wanted. 🚲

Some challenges getting this to the next stage are evident and of course, the park has now been closed for a while which will be frustrating for everybody. Hopefully, the community will work through this. Any insight please share.
