10 Under the Ben 2026 – 20 Years takes place at Nevis Range in Fort William, Scottish Highlands on Saturday 25 April 2026. This marks the 20th anniversary of Nevis Range’s long-running endurance mountain biking event beneath the backdrop of Ben Nevis. Riders tackle a 10-hour race around a lower-trails loop with approximately 400 metres of climbing per lap, open to solos, pairs, or teams.

Friday 24 April 2026
Registration: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday 25 April 2026
Registration: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Rider briefing: 9:00 AM (outside Café / Hub)
Race start: 9:30 AM
Last lap: 7:30 PM
Race finish: 8:30 PM
Prize ceremony: 9:00 PM (may start earlier if all riders have finished)

Start / Transition Point: Nevis Range Car Park

Timing

Each rider or team is issued a timing chip to track laps:

Solo riders: one chip per rider for the full 10 hours.
Pairs / Teams: one chip per team, handed over between teammates; only laps by the chip holder count.

Trails & Access

The course runs entirely on Nevis Range’s lower trails. Some public bike trails will remain open with diversions, and uplift service will operate (weather permitting) with adjusted routes. The junior event the following day will use parts of the same course with minor diversions.

Facilities

Food & drink: Nevis Range Café / Bar open 7:00 AM – late; burger van TBC.
Parking: £6 per vehicle, first-come basis (pay on the day).
Overnight parking: £15 per night, book on the day or online here.
Accommodation: Basecamp Hotel and Campervan Park on site.
Other facilities: toilets, café, bar, bike workshop and shop available on site.
