Tweed Valley Trail Association Reopen Feed The Pony

Hi TVTA Friend,

With harvesting complete on Feed The Pony we are keen to get this running well again.

FLS are dealing with the sharp stumps that have been left behind - Thank you.

The contractor has crossed the track a few times so we'll need to re-establish the trail tread at these locations. This will be the primary focus of this maintenance session but there may be some debris to clear off the trail and out of fall zones too.

Come and enjoy the new view up and down the valley!

More Info:

We will meet and register people at Innerleithen Memorial Hall and will aim to head up the hill shortly afterwards.

There will be a few vehicles travelling up, so hopefully we should be able to get most people close to the site without too much hassle. Feel free to cycle up.

Don’t worry if you have limited experience – there will be plenty of people with trail experience to guide you.

Please bring with you suitable clothing and footwear. If you have steel toe capped boots please wear them, if not, strong sturdy boots will be sufficient. We recommend you bring a waterproof with you.

Please ensure that you sign in at the start of the session, out at the end and make sure any tools you use are given back to the TVTA team at the end of the session.

Please do aim to be self-sufficient with regards food and water.

If you can’t make it for any reason, please cancel your booking, so we can free up a space to someone who can.
