Calderdale Mountain Bike Marathon

The Calderdale Mountain Bike Marathon returns on Sunday 12 October 2025, starting from Sowerby St Peter’s Cricket Club in Sowerby Bridge (HX6 1DF). Riders can take on either the 27-mile full route (+4225 ft ascent) or the 13-mile short route (+1800 ft ascent).

• Start time: 08:30

• Entries: £25 (close Friday 10 Oct at 18:00 via SiEntries)

• Parking: school car park opposite & roadside near HQ

The fully way-marked course includes marshals and support on route. E-bikes (pedal-assist legal class only) are welcome. Hot food and drinks will be available at the finish. The event runs in aid of the 24th St Paul’s Sowerby Bridge Scout Group.
