DHDBP Winter Series Round 1

About the event

The course will be published on social media a few weeks in advance.

Please enter the category based on your age at the end of this year.

Riders name and DOB needs to be provided.

We expect that most of you know where we are but the most accurate way to find us is using what3words bunkers.ballooned.spoon. Parking is at the top of the hill and is for racers only, if you have any spectators coming to watch you please direct them to The Grove carpark at the bottom defenders.ties.exhale.

PLEASE CAN MOTOR HOMES PARK IN THE GROVE CAR PARK

Please be aware that any racers found parked on Windy Bank Road will be asked to move into the car park, refusal will result in being disqualified from the event. This is very important as future events will be at risk if this is not adhered to. The car park will open at 8.00am (no overnight camping on Saturday). Upon arrival please as directed.

8:00 Car park opens. Course open for on-foot inspection

8:30-09:30 Sign on

8:30 Marshal briefing

9:00-12:15 Practice

13:00 1st race run followed by a short interval and then 2nd runs

16:00 Presentations

16:30 Venue closes

Registration closes at 9:30, any rider not signed on by then will not be able to race. 

A £10 CASH DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR YOUR NUMBER BOARD. THIS WILL BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE DAY WHEN NUMBER BOARD IS RETURNED. PLEASE DO NOT CUT/MODIFY BOARDS AS YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT

All riders should arrive with their bikes in good working order. All bikes must have bar plugs and be capable of riding on a DH course. Riders are required to wear a full-face helmet, and we strongly recommend gloves and appropriate body protection (knee pads, particularly). 

The weather can be unpredictable – you should be prepared with clothing for all seasons.
