Royal Leamington Spa Cycling Club Wednesday Mountain Bike Ride

We meet in the Newbold Comyn Car Park at 18:45 ready to leave for 19:00. 

1.5 to 2 hours riding with regular breaks, 10-15 miles (on average)

Pace of the slowest rider for about 1.5  to 2 hours (on average)

If you fancy a relaxing ride with the emphasis on chat and socialising, Wednesday night is the ride for you. No one will be left behind.

The pace will be slowed and the distance reduced to accommodate whoever comes along so it's ideal if you are a beginner, getting back into cycling or if you just aren't fussed about riding fast. We stick together as a group and aim for a ride of around 1.5 hrs with a pace below 10mph.

We meet at 18:45 to leave at 19:00 from the meeting point.  The routes will be mostly off-road so mountain bikes, hybrid bikes or cyclocross bikes are what you'll need as well as lights (even in the summer) to get you home (particularly if you come to the pub afterwards!).

So, for anyone thinking they aren't fit enough for a club ride, now is the time to think again and come and join us!

Non-club members are very welcome to join this ride. After 3 rides you will have to join the club
