Demystifying Ride Leadership – Community of Practice – Women’s MTB

Welcome to the Women’s Offroad Cycling Community of Practice in Wales

In partnership with Beicio Cymru and MB Wales, we hope to help make Wales a global leader for gender-inclusive mountain biking in Wales!

As part of this work, we are bringing together women across Wales to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and offer support. We have planned online and in person Community of Practice sessions to help support the development of women and girls in mountain biking.

In this session, we’ll focus on:

Helping to demystify ride leadership for anyone who may be thinking of taking part in a ride leader course or want to know more about it.

Women tutors and ride leaders as special guests.

Discuss what is involved with a ride leader qualification, who is suitable, as well as possible barriers.

Answer questions and address concerns about taking part in a ride leader course and becoming a ride leader.
