Project Mushroom 🍄 We’re excited to contnue with Project Mushroom, a brand-new, hand-built trail that’s going to be created based on rider feedback. This was one of the most requested improvements from our trails survey. This isn’t just another trail; it’s designed to be a true rider-driven experience, created by volunteers, flowing through the landscape in harmony within our current network. A huge thank you to the landowners for giving us permission to create this trail on their land for all to enjoy. But here’s the deal – a project of this scale requires multiple Dig Days and a whole community of volunteers to bring it to life. This is where we need YOU! Whether it’s one day or many, your help will be essential in turning this dream trail into a reality. Every volunteer makes a difference, from shaping lines to creating berms and features that will make Project Mushroom a must-ride addition for years to come. This is your chance to be part of Tarland Trails’ growth, adding a trail designed to reflect the community’s passion for mountain biking and the natural world. Let’s dig deep, work hard, and have fun creating an incredible addition to our trails.

🛠 What to Expect:

• Hands-On Trail Work: Help shape the lines, clearing trail, building berms and features and don't forget about drainage as we continue to bring Project Mushroom to life.

• Learning and Community: Get tips from experienced builders, share ideas, and connect with fellow mountain biking enthusiasts.

🧤 Don't forget to bring:

• Sturdy footwear

• Suitable clothing (Waterproof!)

• Lunch & water

• Your passion for mountain biking!
