Building Your Trail Association Through Community' Workshop and Ride

Join us for an informal workshop and ride where we discuss the link between Trail Associations and their communities.

We'll talk about how to build a community around your trails and then how to empower it to invest time back into the trails, to maintain them and champion their growth.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who's involved in running, or looking to start, a trail association or informal trail group. It should be especially useful for anyone who is trying to maintain trails but needs more support around them and to get more people digging, donating and generally sharing the load.

This will be hosted by Ride Bristol volunteers and Robin Grant from the UK MTB Trail Alliance.

We'll ride a short, surfaced loop of the Ashton Court trails. The trails are blue and green graded and should be suitable for anyone with some experience of riding surfaced, all-weather MTB trails.

You'll need a working mountain bike, a helmet and anything else you might need to be self-sufficient on the trails. Bikes can be hired from Pedal Progression.
