2024 Emergency First Aid Courses at Nevis Range

2-day outdoor emergency first aid course.

Courses are aimed at the people who work or enjoy the outdoors and the course syllabus covers the requirements of national governing bodies awards such as BASI, ML and RYA.

This course teaches students first aid as recommended by the HSE and in accordance with current practice and guidelines as set out by the resuscitation council.

The course is taught with blended learning, students will participate in classroom and outdoor scenarios and suited to their needs. The outdoor scenarios will involve being both the casualty and the first aider and are based around the potential and common injuries and medical conditions seen in the outdoors.

Assessment is ongoing during the course and feedback given as the course progresses.
