Southern XC Round 3- Clanfield

Southern XC is a Cross Country Mountain Bike series held between March and August. SouthernXC is an annual British Cycling regional series with a long history stretching back for over 20 years. It’s suitable for anyone from new cyclists enjoying their first mountain bike racing fix, all the way through to seasoned cross country racers looking for a great season of mountain bike racing.

Round 1

Winchester 23/03/2025

We love this venue with its stunning views over the South Downs. The maze of singletrack that winds its way through the woodland is littered with short punchy climbs, testing corners and grin inducing descents.

Round 2

Basingstoke 20/04/2025

SouthernXC returns to Folly Farm to race the testing turns through the woodland and big fireroad blasts, all the trails here have a real old school XC feel which has made it a firm favourite in the short history of this race. This course just keeps getting better and better every year and we can’t wait for the 2025 edition.

Round 3

Clanfield 17/05/2025

We had a blast in Clanfield last year , a slightly shorter course filled with plenty of technical sections to keep you all on your A game . This course has been master crafted by the team from Solent Pirates.

Round 4

The New Forest 01/06/2025

We last visited the new forest back in 2024 and must admit it was a fantastic venue last season , classic XC twists and turns with some great single track sections and set in a fantastic location.

Round 5

Isle Of Wight 06/07/2025

For our season Finale we have traveled as Southern as we can go and takes us to the epic Isle of Wight , this race has taken over social media by storm and we promise you all a fantastic course around the Island’s MTB Center .
