A treasure hunt and MTB festival in the Tweed Valley, Scottish Borders
About the event
The Hunt is back, supported by our friends at Juliana Bicycles. Saddle up for two-days of mountain bike shenanigans and dive into our legendary Treasure Hunt. It's the most fun you'll have while riding around our beautiful Borders trails. Get ready for the most epic raffle known to humankind, outrageous costumes, epic camaraderie, and friendships that are tighter than lycra! This year's theme? Famous iconic women throughout history. Come in costume or no costume - your choice, but whatever you do, just get here!
What's in store: a Treasure Hunt that'll bring out your inner Miss Marple, a Film night perfect for chilling before the main event, inspiring talks from the Tweed Valley's finest, guided gravel and mountain bike rides with good vibes, a Ride and Dook for those who love a splash, a party that will have you dancing like nobody's watching, spot prizes that are more surprising than finding a fiver in your jeans, a raffle that'll have you crossing your fingers, and heaps of fabulous extras!
Food will be available to purchase onsite throughout the day. You can also bring your own food if that makes things easier for you. For an extra £15 you can enjoy a BBQ at the Saturday night party.
Free camping on the grounds all weekend and we can provide accommodation options for those travelling to the area.
The Hunt is open to all women over the age of 18+ and is £45 to attend.
Here's the programme:
Friday night: Arrival from 5pm, intro to who we are and some short films to get you chatting and meeting new friends
Saturday: The main event Treasure Hunt and prize giving
Saturday evening: Party and BBQ - (costs an additional £15 - this is included in the £60 ticket. If you want to decide later on the BBQ, there will be a chance to book that later).
Sunday: Guided Gravel and Mountain Bike rides and Ride & Dook!
All riding will be suitable for MTB newbies and ninjas! Something for everyone. For those that want to chill and soak up the vibes more there are options not to ride the full course on Saturday. And on Sunday there will be social ride options for everyone.
We'll have deaf friendly volunteers on site too and will support riders with any other assistance they need to make this an enjoyable experience for everyone!
The event is kindly supported by Destination Tweed. We will also be launching something very special over the weekend as part of this project!
