Free Litter Pick with Dean Trail Volunteers & Trash Free Trails

Calling Mountain Bikers of all ages... families, friends and fans of the Forest.

Do you love riding the mountain bike trails in the Forest of Dean? Why not give something back to the places you love to ride!

Join us, the Dean Trail Volunteers, for a couple of hours litter-picking before you go on your ride, and show the trails at Cannop Cycle Centre some much needed care and attention.

In return, we can offer you a parking permit for the day, a feel good factor and a discount for some delicious coffee and cake 😁

We're working in partnership with TrashFreeTrails, Foresters Forest, Forestry England and #Loveyourforest.

Meeting at 9.30am by the big green DTV containers at Pedalabikeaway. Look forward to seeing you there!

Instructions For Diggers

•Meet us at the DTV container (Right of the Pedalabikeway Café)

•Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty

•Wear comfortable sturdy boots to keep you feet safe

•Bring gloves (gardening/building), waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent (as required)

•Bring a bottle or water and maybe some tea/coffee and snacks as we are sometimes picking away from the cycle centre

•Don’t worry if you haven’t been on a litter pick with us before, you will be supported by our trained dig leads and other volunteers.

•You will be given a hi viz vest to wear for the day and safety briefing before you start

•Your car parking ticket for the day will be covered by us

•We will provide grabbers and refuse sacks
