TCNW Trail Maintenance Session

Come and help us look after the awesome Gwydir trails.

To volunteer you must be over the age of 18. Anyone between 14 -17 wishing to join us will need to attend with a supervising adult.

For new trail volunteers

•Meet us in the car park at Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy, Trefriw

•Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty

•Wear comfortable sturdy boots e.g.hiking boots

•Bring gloves (gardening/building), waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent, depending on season

* Safety glasses/riding glasses are advisable *

•Bring a bottle or water and maybe some tea/coffee and snacks as we will be digging away from the carpark area

•Don’t worry if you haven’t been on a dig with us before, you will be in a group with experienced volunteers, led by a coordinator who can show you what to do

•You will be given a hi viz vest to wear for the session and a safety briefing before you start

Sessions usually start at 10am, and run until 1pm depending on the project being worked on.

Many of us will go out for a ride afterwards so bring your bikes!
