Focus Rides Mountain Bike Cross-country series 2025 Round 3 Well Vale (Alford)

Welcome to Focus Rides mountain bike cross-country series 2025 in Lincolnshire. The series will be run over 5 rounds on private farm land around the Lincolnshire wolds.

All abilities and ages welcome as long as you can ride a bike without stabilisers in a controlled manner and comfortable riding on rugged ground.  You must wear a British kite marked cycling helmet to participate in the race and our bike must be in a road worthy condition. 

The series. 

A series will form over 5 rounds for each category, 4 of your best results out of 5 will count towards league points. At the end of the 5 round series, trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers from each category. If there is a tie on points then it will be based on a count back of best placed positions. Whichever racer has the most highest race positions wins. If that is then equal a 1 lap shootout will happen. 

Points are awarded for the top 20 places in each category. 1st place is awarded 20 points. 

If a rider wins the category by a country mile then you will be asked to move up a division. If you would like to remain in the division you are currently riding in due to time restraints then you will score no further points for the league and you will be removed from the league. This is to make it as fair racing as possible and to promote close fun racing for all. If you are promoted to the next division up you will take your pint with you.

Youth boys : age 13-16, 1 hour (Race 1)

Youth Girls : age 13-16, 45 min

Expert male : 1 hour 15 min Race 2

Sport male : 1 Hour, Race 2

Ladies : 17+, 1 hour (Race 4)

Fun/Novice male : 45 min, Race 4

Junior boys : Aged 17 - 22, 45 Mins, Race 4

Under 13 boys : 20-30 min (Race 3)

Under 13 girls : 20-30 min (Race 3)

Ebike : 45 minutes

Under 9's (Free entry) : Age 5-9, 10 Min race on an oval circuit.
