Join thousands of other riders taking on Europe’s biggest charity mountain bike event this September! Conquer 61 miles of superb views, tough climbs and technical terrain. With every pedal, you’ll be powering lifesaving research and helping us to give people more time with the ones they love.

The ride

Starting at Apps Court Farm, you'll quickly pick up the Thames Cycle Track and enjoy amazing scenery across the river as you head out of the city. You'll see stunning views as you cycle through Weybridge, Shere, Southwater Country Park and Steyning, before taking on the monster climb to the top of Truleigh Hill, where you’ll be able to see as far as the sea! Then it's all downhill to Hove where you'll be cheered across the finish line and receive your all-important medal. 

The route includes 1,295m of climbing on rough and varying terrain. It is a real mix of tracks, with hard surfaces through to dirt and gravel, with roots, grass, sand and stones. 

Ability level

The London to Brighton off-road bike ride presents a significant challenge, even for experienced riders. While some novices may struggle, many have successfully completed the ride and have found the overall experience to be extremely rewarding.
