A women's social ride for blue and red level riders, hosted by SheRides ambassador Claire. The group rides around 15km and explores whatever it wants to ride: "you'll never be pressured to do something you don't want to do." No rushing, no pushing to tick off features; the aim is to have fun and ride bikes.

Swinley is made up of two big loop trails, blue and red. The blues mix pedalling through the forest with flowy berms; depending on the group, the ride either continues on the blues at the halfway point or breaks out onto the reds, which are progressive, with every jump and drop fully rollable. Swinley's reds are often considered more like blues at the Forest of Dean or the Surrey Hills.

The ride stays outside The Summit skills area. The Summit needs pre-booking online (£10) and a signed waiver; if everyone agrees on the day, the ambassador can look at getting the group signed up, subject to availability, with everyone paying for themselves.

Meet Claire opposite the Look Out Discovery Centre, ready to ride at 10am; be on time, the group won't hang around long (what3words: ///shack.gasp.pitch). More on the trails: Swinley Forest activities.

Facilities: paid parking, toilets, café, bike shop. A helmet is a must: SheRides will not ride with anyone who is not wearing one. Other protective gear is up to you (the ambassadors normally ride with knee/elbow pads and maybe gloves, depending on conditions). You'll need a bike that is trail suitable, safe and in working order. Bikes can be hired from the Swinley Bike Hub; book well in advance. Bring snacks and plenty of water; there's a lunch stop at the on-site café, or bring your own.

The ride is free. The Look Out Discovery Centre car park is paid: prices and how to pay. Rides normally last around 4 hours, with no pressure if you need to dip out at any point.

Sign up on the ride's Plus1 page (no app needed, Plus1 emails you a code). Contact the ambassadors by posting in the ride's comments on Plus1; if you're running late, there might not be signal at the meet point. Open to women 18+; you ride at your own risk.
