Improve your mountain bike skills and fitness, learn at your own pace and meet other like-minded women in a friendly and encouraging environment. Run by Jeremy's Rides at Bedgebury Forest.
Thursday mornings, 10:00 to 11:30, weekly from 1 October 2026.
In these sessions you'll be applying core mountain bike skills at the BFCC (Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club) training area and possibly on some Red Route sections. Suitable for beginner and intermediate riders with a moderate level of fitness. Practice of core skills is designed to help you ride smoother and more safely. It's also useful for experienced riders with no formal training to develop speed and efficiency.
Price: £15 per session or £50 for a block of 4 sessions. Passes can be bought online: 1 class pass or 4 class passes.
Booking: there are 8 places available each week. Email jb@jeremybrown.co.uk or message 07747808246 to book a spot (there's no online booking system for this group at the moment).
Meeting point: next to the car park payment machines. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes early so the class can start promptly. Parking discount available on the day (you pay £4).
What you will need: a well maintained off-road specific bike (e-bikes are welcome; bike hire is available from Go Ape at Bedgebury), a helmet (required; other safety gear is optional but gloves are recommended), a drink and snack, and clothing suitable for the weather.
About your coach: Jeremy is a British Cycling qualified coach, experienced in coaching adults and children, and a volunteer with Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club.
