One of Dalby Forest Cycle Hub's most popular courses, designed to help beginners or those looking to improve their mountain biking skills. With expert coaching and supportive guidance, you'll develop confidence and technique on the trail.
Location: Dalby Forest Cycle Hub, Low Dalby. Max ratio 1:8. Open to riders aged 14 and above.
Prerequisites: a mountain bike, a helmet and a willingness to learn.
All courses are led by British Cycling qualified trainers with no more than 8 riders in any group. Booking is essential and payment is taken at the time of booking.
If you don't have your own bike, Dalby Forest Cycle Hub offers a 20% discount off the normal hire charge for course participants, but book early to make sure a bike is available. For bike hire, ring 01751 460585 and mention which course you're booked on.
All riders must wear a suitable helmet: no helmet, no ride.
The courses are supported by Forestry England, which reduces the Dalby Forest entry fee from £9 to £3 for course participants. At the end of your course, ask a member of the hub team for a barrier exit code.
Cancellations and transfers must be requested in writing by email to customercare@dalbyforestcyclehub.co.uk. Cancellation charges apply depending on notice given, and the hub may cancel or postpone a course if too few places are booked.
