The Junior Hardrock Duathlon returns to Dalbeattie Forest on 20th September 2026 for 8-15 year olds, run by Dalbeattie Community Initiative. Route 1 (8-11yrs) covers a 0.9 mile run and 2 mile mountain bike section; Route 2 (12-15yrs) covers a 1.6 mile run and 5.5 mile mountain bike section. Entrants can go solo across both disciplines or pair up in a run/bike team, with a finisher's medal for every competitor and prize bags for category winners. Registration opens 9am, with the first race starting at 11am.
