Women's Dig with Dean Trail Volunteers

For Dames who Dig. For the first women’s dig of 2024 the aim is to tidy up the first section of the Verderers Blue XC trail. A short walk from the Cycle Centre the aim will be to spruce up the qualifier section of the Blue. A range of work will be available, everything from sweeping the trails clear of loose pebbles and leaves to reshaping some of the berms, jumps and rollers. A great opportunity to progress your trail building skills in a safe and supportive social space, get out in nature and give something back to the MTB community.

Instructions For Diggers

•Meet us at the DTV container (left of the Pedalabikeway Café)

•Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty

•Wear comfortable sturdy boots to keep you feet safe

•Bring gloves (gardening/building), waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent (as required)

•Bring a bottle or water and maybe some tea/coffee and snacks as we are sometimes digging away from the cycle centre

•Don’t worry if you haven’t been on a dig with us before, you will be supported by our trained dig leads and experienced regular diggers.

•You will be given a hi viz vest to wear for the day and safety briefing before you start

•Your car parking ticket for the day will be covered by us
