The legendary Elan Valley MTB Challenge returns on 13th September 2026 for its sixth year, bigger than ever, with an epic day of riding through the stunning Elan Valley in Mid Wales. Riders choose from 35km, 55km, or the new-for-2026 100km Ultra distance, taking on big climbs, flowing descents and technical sections through remote mountain terrain. Entry includes GPX navigation files, a mid-way feed station, free parking and a finisher’s medal, with e-bikes welcome. Organised by Snowdonia MTB Events, starting from Rhayader Football Club — last few places remain.
